The Ebor Festival is the jewel in York's crown and this year will be held over four days. The blend of the very best horses with a sense of tradition and style make it the centerpiece of many a sporting and social calendar. The Ebor handicap, one of the most famous races of the Festival was first run in 1843 and is now the feature race on the Wednesday of the meeting.
